SHARE welcomed the President of the HUJ, and the VP for International affairs, on their third visit to Singapore

SHARE welcomed the President of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Prof. Asher Cohen and the Vice President for International affairs, Prof. Oron Shagrir, on their third visit to Singapore.

The President, Prof. Asher Cohen, and Vice President, Prof. Oron Shagrir, visited the National Research Foundation, the Campus of Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE), Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, the National University of Singapore and Netatech (Netatech Engineering Pte Ltd.).  

They met with NUS President Prof. Tan Eng Chye and with NTU Senior Vice President for Research Prof. Lam Khin Yong. They also met with Mr Beh Kian Teik, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Research Foundation.

Their visit focused on promoting collaborative research programmes in Agritech and Aquatech between Hebrew University and Singaporean experts.

Prof. Cohen and Prof. Shagrir also visit Netatech (Netatech Engineering Pte Ltd.) and were introduced to the CompuFarm which is constructed there and will serve as the experimental platform for the CREATE sponsored iSURF (Israel-Singapore Urban Farm) programme between the Hebrew University, NTU and Netatech.

They also visited the MLID (Modelling liver inflammatory disease) and SGSR (Soft Robotics for Smart Grippers) laboratories in CREATE and were introduced to the Researchers and their progress and discoveries.
