Prof Ittai Herrmann is a Principal investigator at ISURF at SHARE.

 He holds a position of Assistant Professor at Institute for Plant Sciences and Genetics in Agriculture in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Rehovot, Israel.

 

Prof Ittai Herrmann received his Bachelor of Arts (2005) in Geography & Environmental Development from Ben-Gurion University, Israel. He was awarded his Master of Arts (2008) and Doctorate of Philosophy (2012) from Ben-Gurion University, Sede Boker Campus, Israel. After gaining experience in the industry (2014), Postdoc graduate from Ben-Gurion University (2015) and University of Wisconsin – Madison, USA (2018).

 

Prof Ittai Herrmann research interests are Identification and detection of plant response to abiotic and biotic stresses, Remote sensing of vegetation, Hyperspectral imaging, Precision agriculture, High-throughput plant phenotyping.
