She obtained her B.Sc. in Marine Biology at Swansea University, UK in 2011, and her M.Res. in Ocean Science at University of Southampton, UK, in 2013. She was awarded the Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences at Bar Ilan University, Israel in 2020. Her thesis title was “Thermal tolerance of Scleractinian corals in the Gulf of Aqaba and the parental effects induced by a changing environment”.

She has gained a vast experience in performing experiments which manipulate seawater conditions (e.g. temperature)to simulate tropical ocean conditions. Her expertise lies in assessing the physiology and reproductive biology of reef building corals in response to climate changes.
