Dr Joseph Aizen is a Principal investigator and a Senior Lecture in Ruppin Academic Center. He holds a position at the Faculty of Marine Sciences as the head of the MSc Program in Marine Sciences and the head of the BSc 3rd year Program in Marine Aquaculture.
Dr Joseph Aizen received his bachelor’s degree in animal sciences (2001) at the Faculty of Agricultural, Food & Environmental Quality Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was awarded his Master of Marine Biology and Animal Sciences (2005) and Doctorate of Philosophy (2011) at the Faculty of Agricultural Animal Sceinces and Biotechnology, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
Dr Joseph Aizen research focuses primarily on the endocrinology, reproduction, and physiology of marine organisms, including fish, crustaceans, and sea turtles. Key research areas include Gonadotropin function, Hormonal control and Biotechnological applications.
